Abstract
After the January 2019 NCUTCD meeting where the FHWA confirmed that they are working on a new MUTCD, the NCUTCD CAV Task Force engaged the Auto Alliance to obtain information that could be used to generate discussion and direction concerning the need of traffic control devices to support the deployment of automated driving systems (ADS).
