Gilbert Horrocks founded Horrocks Engineers, Inc. in 1968 as a company committed to planning and designing transportation, water, sewer, and storm drain systems as well as treatment plants and communities that will stand up to the demands of the rapidly growing West. Over their past 40 years of business, Horrocks Engineers has transitioned to become a full service civil engineering company. Their client base ranges from contractors, municipalities, water districts, and special service districts, to several state departments of transportation, the Federal Highway Administration, and many others.
With satellite offices in Arizona, Idaho, and throughout Utah, they are able to serve a diverse clientele across the West. Horrocks Engineers is currently, in cooperation with the Utah Department of Transportation and FHWA, improving conditions along the I-80 corridor utilizing Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC) and a reversible barrier system. They were also selected to plan, design and perform construction management for a complete secondary irrigation system for American Fork City, Utah.
