ITS Rocky Mountain Elections

ITS Rocky Mountain members are urged to nominate candidates for the Board of Directors: The Board of Directors is made up of officers and senators. Officers of the ITS Rocky Mountain Chapter constitute President, Vice-President, Secretary/Treasurer, and Immediate Past President. Each state within the Chapter is also represented by at least one (1), but no more than two (2) state associate senators that are charged with increasing the awareness of the ITS Rocky Mountain Chapter within their respective states.  Positions open for elections are listed below.  Nominations can be emailed to admin@itsrm.org and must be received no later than November 18th, 2015.

 


Note:  State Senator(s)

Each state shall be represented by two (2) Associate Senators. One Associate Senator will represent the State Government (DOT or similar) and one will represent industry or other political subdivisions. Each will have a right to vote on the board, however only the presence of one Senator from each member state is required to fulfill the requirement for a quorum.  Each Senator must reside within the state they represent.


 

 

Colorado and Idaho State Senator(s)

Each Senator serves a term of three (3) years unless a mid-term vacancy dictates that a candidate serves just the amount of time remaining for that term.  This term will begin immediately upon election December 2015 and conclude December 2018.  Both full term seats in Colorado and Idaho are open.

Montana State Senator (Interim)

Each Senator serves a term of three (3) years unless a mid-term vacancy dictates that a candidate serves just the amount of time remaining for that term.  This term will begin immediately upon election December 2015 and conclude December 2016.  One interim seat in Montana is open.
